Golden Years Foundation is a nonprofit with a mission to improve the quality of life for older adults in Egypt by building supportive platforms that promote care, connection, and accessibility.

The foundation grew from a grass-root Facebook community of over 100,000 members into a registered foundation under Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity (No. 1035, December 2021).

Founded by Dina Hashish, a Stanford Law graduate and international law professional recognized by the UN Decade of Healthy Aging initiative as one of 50 global leaders fostering healthy aging, Golden Years is a movement driven by personal conviction and community power.

In today’s global environment, local focus and social cooperation are vital for a healthy world. Dina founded Golden Years Community foundation in 2021 to promote healthy aging in Egypt. By creating a local ecosystem to serve the needs of seniors,

Dina has charted a path for lifting the burden of many caregivers and caretakers. Her passion for creating a healthy aging environment for seniors is driven by her personal family experience. Dina is a Stanford Law school graduate with a successful career in international law and social equity.
